Commemorative locks have been issued for many occasions in the US and here you will find a few. Story locks were made during the latter part of the 1800's, are generally made of cast iron and extremely decorative on both sides. Story locks are rare and command high prices which reflect that, but beware, there are reproductions of some of them.
